my son is 26 weeks old and i have noticed that his little feet are stinky! i bathe him every other day. when he wears socks, his feet sweat and they get toe jam between them. i know this is really gross but the toe jam smells really bad. even after i wash between his toes it smells. it smells less, but it still smells. i'm just not sure if it's just me being wierd or if other babies do this?

My daughter gets bathed every night as well, but her feet are still a little stinky sometimes. Although, we make a game of it and she thinks it's funny. I'll smell her feet and tell her she has stinky feet. She thinks that just the funniest thing ever and just giggles and giggles. As weird as it sounds, it's actually worth it to smell her feet just to hear her giggle. haha!

My son is 6.5 months and he has stinky feet too! He gets a bath every evening and I always clean out the toe jam and keep his toe nails trimmed short...I guess he's just a healthy baby!

I have to laugh a little, I went through the same thing when my daughter was born! My daughter is now 2 and my son is 6 months. They both have/had stinky feet. I was really freakish when I first noticed this with her and didn't understand why at first. I actually asked her pediatrician about it. It's due to the soaps, lotions and their sweat mixing that will cause the odor. Especially, if you keep them in sleepers and/or socks. Now that she is older, her feet don't stink since we're not rubbing lotion on them anymore. My son however, his stink the same day that I give him a bath. Just make sure you are rubbing the lotion into his feet really well so it's not sitting between his little toes. Then when you wash, make sure you rinse between them really well also. Hope this helps... and the smell does get better, I promise! :)
