Does your 3month old still have that gray/blue eye color? both my husband and i have brown eyes but we both have dads with blue eyes, is it possible that her eyes could stay blue? they are a blue/gray color. Shouldn't they change by now? and when do they start to change or get their permant color?

Quoting Jessica:

doctors say that eye color starts to change to permanent color at around 6 months, but actually my eyes when i was younger were blue and didnt change until i was 6 or 7 years old, they changed to green, i noticed in a picture that my eyes were blue and i was 4 in the picture and then i stopped and remembered one day i came home from school and my mom looked at me and said why are your eyes green today? i believe i was 6....so who knows lol

Then your eyes might actualy be more grey with specles of other colours. Mine are grey, but depending on what I wear or my mood they can also change colour. For example when I am sad or cried they are green as can be, but when I use blueish eye shadow they go sky blue! Supposedly your baby's eyes are their true colour around 6 months.

My sons were grey/blue as well and finally turned to brown at 16 months! My 3 month olds are the same now, so I think they will probably go brown.

My 3month old was born with that blue/gray color as well and it seemed like they were going back and forth forever before they settled in. Us like you both have brown eyes and fathers with blue. They started about a month ago going from a light brown back to the blueish color and eventually ended up brown. They still get a real light brown some days and on others they are dark brown.

My son's eyes are DEEP BLUE. They were dark at the hospital, and keep getting lighter. His dad has blue eyes, and mine are green. The dr. was skeptical that they would remain blue in the beginning, but now he is confident they will. Ask your doctor!

my son just turned 4 months yesterday and he still has blue eyes. I have dark brown eyes and my partner has blue. When Jayden was born it was grey/blue now it is just blue and doesn't look like it will change.

My son had blue gray eyes up until his 10th month when they turned brown and my new baby girl also has the bluish color, they do seem a bit more clear than my son's did. ... not holding my breath.

Yes my baby at 4mo. old still have blue eyes. If you child is going to have light colored eyes normally they start off light blue if they are going to be dark colored they will normally start off dark blue. They can change at any time but normally before they are a year. Also don't think since both of your eyes are brown means your babies will be. My husbands are Brown and mine are hazel and my daughters are bright BLUE.

My son's eyes are still the blue/grey color. My daughters eyes didn't start changing until around 6 or 8 months (from what I can remember! lol)
