Any suggestions for congestion & allergies ? My son is almost 4mo. We use a humidifier at night, lots of saline drops & clean his nose with an aspirator. Its upsetting when he sounds so congested when he's sleeping & his nose is sometimes a little bloody in the morning.

My daughter has the same issues. She does not have reflux or anything else wrong with her. She is just always congested it seems. i have propped her up by putting a telephone book under her matress and we also use a humidifier at night. I have gone so far as to bathing her in the baby vapo bath stuff. We use a booger sucker all the time which she hates and I guess we have just gotten used to it. The doc says there is nothing wrong with her and she is too little for allergy testing and meds.

My daughter also 4 months has been congested for the last few days. I try to have her sleep propped up so she is not laying flat. I also just went to Wal-mart and found Baby Vics rub. I just put it on her for the first time. It is more mild than the normal vics.. so I hope it helps. I also in the morning when I take my shower close the door and put her in her bouncer seat to get the warm humidifed air in her system, which seems to help. We use the aspirator and saline too.. which she hates.. but helps a lot. Hope he feels better!

He is on medicine for acid reflux, he never had it very bad though. I'll have to look up EOE, Ive never heard of it. Thx, Catherine !

You could also pu a little vasaline in his nose where its dry

does he have reflux as well? Sounds strange but these can be connected. its called EOE its rare and an allergy induced thing....
