I just started noticing my daughter is starting to mimic my kisses. When I give her kisses, she tries to lounge back to me, but her mouth is open. She plants her mouth on my nose or cheek, it’s the cutes thing. I’m wondering if she is trying to give momma some kisses. Is your baby doing this yet?

I was just thinking about this, babygirl has been lunging at me open mouthed for a few weeks, but two days ago i was blowing kisses at her when she grabbed my face and planted one one me, so sweet, although a couple of seconds later she licked me and laughed...Not so sweet lol

TJ is giving kisses now, too. He lunges forward to kiss me on the check (very wet kisses I might add). He also hugs me around the neck and pats my back (kinda the way I pat him when I burp him)...it's the cutest thing.

if I make the kissing noise to my daughter and put my lips together she will sometimes kiss me back and then give me a hug right after, but when her daddy does it, he gets a few inches from her and she hurries and turns her head so he kisses her cheek. She is a little flirt :)

This is the most wonderful thing!!! All 3 of my babies are doing this right now! It is so cute!! They grab your head and pull towards you!! Have fun!

Yay! Me too! I love it! But my boy lunges in with his tongue out and gives a big lick to the face and laughs at my reaction! Fun times :)

It's so funny you say that because my daughter just started doing this... When I kiss her on the cheek I say, "Kissy!" and now when I say it she leans her cheek into my face! She doesn't actually try and kiss me but I think it's the cutest thing! :)
