My other kids never drooled as much as my little guy does. He just turned 4 mos but when he was 2 1/2 mos he was a droolin' fool..., he still has no teeth, but we go through bibs like crazy otherwise he is constantly soaking his outfits.

My boy also drools alot, and his teeth are on the move. I have found that teething rusk is the way to go, because it is light weight and teaches bub hand and eye co-ordination, just make sure you supervise. If they like it do it I say

My son has been to. I asked my mom about it and she said around that time babies begin drooling a lot. It's nothing to worry about :-) he'll control it soon enough.

My son drools a lot too...started around 2 and a hlaf months. He's 4 months now and he's teething. Your son probably is too but it takes teeth a long time to pop up even though he has started teething

My babies are 3 months and they drool a lot. Cameron started at 2 months old and now we get buckets of drool from him. Ethan just started about 2 weeks ago. He drools a lot as well, but not as much as Cameron. I read that it's mormal for them to drool so much because at this point they're developing their salivary glands and the urge to touch and feel. They're at a stage where they'll still unable to control the saliva. They should, however, be able to by 5 months... Once they learn reach, grab and hold they'll be putting everything their mouths. According to my research and my ped. they're still not able to tell if the child is teething at 3 to 4 months or if their salivary glands are just over active.

My daughter is almost 4 mos and she's drooling up a storm... has been for weeks. My son, who finally finished cutting all his teeth recently, did the same and his first tooth showed at about 4 mos, and the second only days later... could be that your baby is cutting the teeth and his little mouth is just getting ready for it all... ...

My daughter has drooled a lot since day one!! Her Pediatrician says she's jsut gonna be a drooler- nothing to worry about. She literally has so much salivia that she sometimes gets choked on it! We constantly have to keep a bib on her otherwise she soaks her clothes! Now we think she may be trying to start teething because she wants to gnaw and gum a lot. Bless her heart she's going to drowned herself when she really starts teething! lol

Yes my son is 4 months now but starting drooling non-stop at 3 months...the dr said it may be a sign that teething is starting or if he puts his hand in his mouth all the time he produces more saliva than normal. We keep a bib on at all times!

My son has been drooling since he was a month old and around his 2nd month his 1st tooth cut thru its a sign of teething and comes along with nasty runny poop also. but it can take a while for the tooth to cut thru. keep a bib on your baby because the droll can irritate the skin and cause rashes or baby acne.

Hi. My three months old is as well. And her older sister did too. It shows that he is starting to teeth even if you can't see anything yet. The more drool the easier it seems to be for them to handle the teething pains.

Yes my daughter is drooling a lot also. I have found out that teeth are starting to come out but they are not visible yet. IF he whats to chew down on everything like a bull dog like mine is, get him some teeth tablets. If will help with the itchiness and come down the slobbering.

My dd is also drooling. She is 3 months and 1 week and her gums are red and white, swollen and there are bumps that look like little blisters at the very edge of where a tooth would peek through. She has been doing this for a little over a week now and It has to be teething. She is very whiney and cries a good bit. I'm thinking and hoping that it is only the teething and nothing more than that. We are using Orajel for the pain, we are trying an assortment of toys for teething but she prefers her hands.

my daughter is 3 months old and she drools all the time. we have to change her outfit upto 5 times a day b/c she completely soaks through them even if she has a bib on. I asked her doctor about it and he said that she is overly hydrated and i asked him if that was okay, and he said it was great. it means that she's getting fed right and well

My daughter drools a lot also. I just give her teething tablets and things to chew on. My first son started teething at about 4 months, but didn't get his first tooth until 11 1/2 months. Teething pain can start months before a baby actually gets their first tooth.

Yes, lots of drool! It seems to be because they haven't learned to swallow stuff in their mouth yet without a nipple...it's supposed to get a little better in a few months when they start solid food.

My son does the same, he turned 3 months yesterday. Just because he isnt cutting teeth doesnt mean he isnt teething, the doc told me they can teeethed for about 4 months before teeth will actually show.
