Dr. Brown Bottles and Enfamil AR

Currently I am using Dr. Brown Bottles and a mixture of Enfamil AR and Enfamil Gentlease, but slowly weaning out the Gentlease so it will all be AR (trying to prevent constipation). I was just wondering how the Dr. Brown nipples handle the thickened formula when it is all AR. Did anyone have to go to the faster flow nipple or poke another hole in the nipple? My son has reflux (resulting in massive amounts of spit up) so I want him to drink slowly, but I don't want him sucking in air because the nipple is too slow. Any thoughts or advice?

Dr Browns is the brand I used for both my kids. I have yet to have any problems with these bottles, in fact my 17 month old only uses a size 2 nipple! This includes the addition of rice!
