Going on holiday with home-made baby food?

My husband and I are planning on going to Disneyland Paris with our baby in early June (she'll be 9 months then) and I'm concerned about what to do about her food. I make all her food myself and freeze it in an ice cube tray and then store the cubes in freezer bags. I don't really want to buy jar food for the holiday but am not sure how exactly to go about using my home-made food while being away from home for a week. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this?

I think that the fruits and veggies would be okay to thaw in a cooler for a week.

When we were in Paris most of the hotel workers spoke English, so they might be able to accommodate you if there isn't a freezer in the room. Usually with a baby, most people can be pretty helpful.

Thanks for your ideas ladies!

We're in London so it'll only be a couple hours by Eurostar to Paris, but I think my main concern is if the hotel room doesn't have a fridge! We haven't booked a hotel yet, but none of them list if they have a fridge or not. Do you think it's possible to keep the cubes in a cooler the whole week? She's still only on fruits and veggies, so no meats to worry about.

My LO is 8 mo old and I make all of her food. I have not taken a flight with her and her food yet. However, I have taken some car trips up to 7 hours. I do like the other poster said...pack it in a small cooler and put it in the freezer as soon as I get to the hotel/destination. Let us know if you find a new idea!

We've just come back from holiday. I took the frozen cubes of food in a freezer bag and then as soon as we got there, put them straight back in the freezer. Mind you, it was only vegies and a two hour flight! Good luck!
