Thanks! My son's birthday is Saturday, August 21st. We are having a backyard barbecue with a jumping jack and a sports theme with about 12 other kids. I also start back to work on the 18th after taking a year off to be with my son.

Happy Birthday to all August babies! Conner will be one the 26th. I am making my sons cake with the help of my MIL who professionally made cakes for decades :) I am going to let him have his own small cake and be as messy as he likes. My son is a mess all the time so why try to stop it on his birthday. I am so amazed at how this year has flown by. And I look forward to so many more years of my son amazing me. He is the youngest of 5 and the last child. They are all so different in personality and growth. And it is so nice when the teenagers are getting on my nerves with the attitude I have a baby who just smiles and hugs me and doesn't talk back :) for now lol. I hope that you have all enjoyed the last year as much as I have!!

I cannot believe a year has gone by. Seemed like yesterday I was waking hubby up at 3am telling him my water had broken. My sweet Jada's b-day is August 24th but having her party this Sunday on the 15th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL THE AUGUST BABIES!!

Happy birthday to all the august babies! my youngest Emma turns 1 on the 19th. we are just having a family bbq as my oldest daughter just turned 4 last mnoth and had a big birthday party. best thing about july/august babies....end of financial year sales! saved a fortune on presents! and my middle child, my son, his bday is in january. woo hoo boxing day sales!! :)

My little boy has and keeps bringing me joy.He had colic for the first 3 months and I thought I'd never enjoy motherhood! But now, Victor's smile as I come from work,watching his developments,the colic was worth it.I even wonder if I'll have another baby as I'm enjoying him so much!

My little Eric will be one on the 17th. We are having a big party with both sides of the family and a few close friends. My sister is making the cake. I asked for Choc. with choc frosting. bring on the mess. He can always have a bath later right?!?!? I was wondering the other day where the year has gone. It seems like it has just flown by. I have very much enjoyed the first year as a mom. I'm can't wait to experince the rest of his first!!!

Thanks,and Happy Birthday to all August babies. It is hard to believe that they are already a year old. I think the more kids you have the faster time seems to pass. Hopefully this next year will be filled with many more great memories and adventures for everyone. My Makinna will turn 1 on friday the 13th!!! We are planning a trip to the zoo with her 2 older brothers (9 & 4) and will have a big princess bash on Saturday.

My daughter will be one the 31st,we are having a swim party at my in-laws,no theme really I just picked out some stuff at Party City that say Birthday Girl.It has a big 1 on everything it 's called Hugs and Stitches. Thought it was really cute!!

My little girl turns 1 on the 19th and shes having 3 parties as my family and my husbands family all live in different areas of England, so its been a nightmare, theres 2 big parties with lots of other children and friends and 1 smaller all day open house party where anyone whos around can pop over and see us all, that one's on her actual birthday as its a thursday, then the sunday before and saturday after we're having bigger parties! Busy busy busy, aswell as working full time!! xx xx

Izzy turn one on sat and it was a blast pic on sat and party on wed. Nicole H don't worry about the mess embrace it. It is their first bday. And you can always just put your baby in bath right after that is what i did. And to tell you the truth she didn't get that messy at all. Good luck

Thanks! And Happy Birthday for all the August birthdays. My boo will "1" on the 28th. Time sure does fly! I plan on going back to work fulltime, but scared to leave him with someone. I guess I spoiled myself, because I have a 2 1/2 old too and I have been home with him too. It's gonna be a big change! :)

Thanks guys! Her birthday was great, we weren't planning on doing anything but family and friends started randomly showing up with food and gifts so we ended up having a party anyway! My aunt brought a cake that had berries and kiwi on it so my baby was eating those with a little bit of icing, mainly for photos sake. I can't believe it's been a year either! She's loving daycare, didn't cry whatsoever on her first day, and I had no problem going back to work since I've been doing one day a week since February so our transition went as smoothly as possible! Again, happy birthday August babies!
