We are having our daughter's first b.day party next weekend. She LOVES Elmo so we are going with that. Nothing too fancy, just cake and snacks. We planned it for after her afternoon nap and only invited friends that have babies so we could keep the guest list small and the party short. Don't want to overstimulate her. Can't believe a year has gone by so fast.

My daughters first birthday party is in two weeks, we are hoping the weather will be nice so we can play in the garden. I have invited 4 little friends of hers, and we have a dairy free cake as she is cows milk intolerant. Hopefully everything goes well

Ask family they are great to help if needed. What is your childs favourite thing and go from there. My daughter will be one in August she loves animals so my theme will go from there. Balloons, bouncy castle fun things to keep the kids occupied and great food.

My son's 1st bday party is this weekend, actually! We're doing a brightly colored zoo animals theme because my son lights up whenever he sees animals...whether it be in real life, in a book, or on tv. I originally saw the theme in the catalog for 1stwishes.com and went from there. We're having a BBQ in the backyard with yard games, water games, and animal themed cupcakes :-)

I'm having a pirate party too! My son has crossed eyes so he has to wear a patch making him our little pirate! I'm having a lot of fun planning it too! We're doing more of a buried treasure party really because I didn't want it to be too scary but it's turning out great l! I brought a pirate ship pool, all the kids will have pirate hats, patches, and foam swords. And I'm doing a treasure hunt for my older son and all the cousins to do. I don't think my baby will be participating I'm that because he's not crawling or walking yet lol but that's OK. And I'm getting ready to make message in a bottle invitations! I'm really excited but I still have a month to wait haha

I am throwing my sons first birthday party in 2 weeks! Its so exciting planning their parties isn't it!?! I have decided to do a pirate theme! Party City has some really cool things for it and I got him a treasure chest for his bday cake. You know since on their first bday they have their own cake and everyone else is getting cupcakes with crossbones on it! I am having so much fun preparing everything!!! Do you have any ideas for what you are doing yet??
