Hey, was wondering what things you all found useful for combating this dreaded part of pregnancy? At moment have to carry around mineral water with me everywhere, seems to help calm things down. Have lost quite a bit of weight to.

Had travel and night time sickness during first pregnacy, but this time around is completely different. Don't give lilly wheat bix in morn anymore, just the thought and I need to run. Hopefully will be ova soon, however didn't leave til around 30 weeks with lilly.

its not as bad now. I was on a cruise a couple of days ago and for about 2 days in a row i was sick. I think it was a mixture of the boat rocking and morning sickness. But i guess it could be worse.  But just in case whenever i go somewhere i make a note of the nearest bathroom or garbage can (just in case the toilet is too far)

Sparkling water and Jolly ranchers help me with the acid feelings. I still throw up all the time but Between the two of those I don't have the headaches no do I throw up before I eat a meal. Outside of that I can't keep down anything my first time around I had Hyperemesis This time I suspect that this is just as likely. We shall see.

I feel sick all the time, I don't puke just feels like the flu. Completely different from my first one where I threw up all the time, but at least I felt better and ate and had energy.

I was very sick the whole time with my 13m old. I tried everything but ended up on Zofran. It really didn't help. This time I am on Reglan. Keeps me down to getting sick 1x every other day. Better than the 7x a day I was at. I found that G2 by Gatorade has really helped me keep the fluids in. They have large bottles and very small ones for on the go. Hope this helps!

I have tried the Preggie Pops and they actually work, don't know if it was all in my head or not. But then I just bought regular suckers and those worked a little bit too. So maybe sucking on a lollipop just helps???? In anycase its worth a try.

Thanks for the posts, didn't know frozen rasberries, will try them. Think i am worst when i get up for my 8mth olds 3am feed, then she gets up at 5am for 1hr play then morn nap b/n 6-7.30am. So am quite sick during that time. Trying dry toast, but then lilly wants to eat it to, but is allergic to some of the ingrediants. Shes at precious age where mums food is much better than anything she has.

With my son, I was sick. Not puking all the time sick, but miserable all day long sick. This time, I'm doing SO much better. What's helping me this time around is eating a bowl of cold cereal first thing in the morning and last thing at night. If you're having problems, you could try drinking some kind of ginger tea (or eating the crystalized ginger candy you can find at some health food stores) or eating raspberries (frozen or not). Those were some tips given to me that helped in my first pregnancy. I've also heard of something called Preggie Pops, citrus flavored hard candies, that help some people. You might be able to Google that.

This is my 2nd, and morning sickness is pretty much a constant all day thing for me when I have it. It is finally beginning to come and go. I have lost a lot of weight with this one. With my son I didn't really have any morning sickness.
