i dont see anything wrong with it... i have been feeding my daughter baby food since she was 2 months and i use stage one and rice cereal to thicken it up a little bit... it really helped her because she had colic... i got better sleep and so did she... i started out with putting 2 scoops of rice cereal in her bottle to get her digestive system used to it.... BUT DO WHATEVER U THINK IS BEST FOR YOUR CHILD.... hope that helps =)

Hi there, My daughter was born August 27, she has been having ceral for about 2 weeks now, and we mix it with Earth's Best First fruits. My pediatrician said she is doing good and she was just getting way to much formula. She was born 5 pounds 12 ounces and is now just over 14 so the signs for them being ready are things such as do they let you know when they are full, do the pick their head up to get the bottle, have they doubled their birth weight. Are they eating more than 30 ounces a day. Good luck to you.

In my opinion you feed your baby food when you are ready to. My son is now 4mo. old and i have a daughter who is 7yrs old. I have been feeding my son cereal since he was 2 mo. old and jars for the last month. He loves it. I don't give him it every evening just when I'm eating and he's there also. I don't feed him a whole lot just a little as much as i feel he can handle. He loves it. I did the same with my daughter and she's very healthy.
