My daughter has mild eczema on her cheeks and one upper arm. I was just at the dr today for her 12 month checkup, and he said to try Eucerin lotion and eventually it will resolve. Does anyone have a remedy they have tried that seems to help? I have had several people tell me Eucerin doesn't do much and I would like to resolve this ASAP since it's on her face. Thanks!

i had eczema on my hands and thing that seemed to help me was butter milk and natural yog reb it in thickly few times a day and it not only help calm donw the redness and itchyness but also seemed to help my hands from cracking not only that if your cild gets it on her hands it wont do any harm because its all naturall ingrediants but its not going to work over night.

My daughter has eczema for a year now and her's is severe i use eucerin shampoo and body wash but as for lotion i use only Vaseline 2-3 times a day to keep her skin moist ....

Odin had a mild case on his face a couple months ago as well, my doctor told me to just put vaseline on it and to reduce bath frequency as it dries out the skin. The vaseline helped a lot actually, it cleared up about 2-3 days after I started using it. I just put it on about 3 times a day and that seemed to do the trick.

You can try Aveeno ezcema creams. They are usually in the baby aisle. My son has bad ezcema and so for him the only thing that works is a prescription steroid cream, but avoid that if you can since it temporarily lightens the skin

Best thing is calendula cream at night and use California Baby Baby wash. Aveeno is ok, but the California Baby one is even better. My son is 8, he still has it on his face but the cream does make it flatter and smoother.

My son suffers from eczema, hes was so bad it got infected. He has cuts under hes arm thats how bad it was and he has it on he arms tummy and neck. I would recommend you use Betamethasone. Its a steroid. we havent had a reaction in months and hes started when he was 3 months. people usually think im joking if i tell them he has eczema

I'm not sure of a "quick fix" to get rid of eczema. My nieces and nephews have it and to help soothe it and sometimes it helps clear it up as well my sister gives them oatmeal baths (Aveeno makes a really gentle one for babies) and also Walmart & Walgreens has an off brand that works better for us than Eucerin does. Hope this helps!
