My daughter is 11 months old and used to love bathtime! Now she clings to me and screams and cries. I don't know what to do! I have tried the big bath tub and then going back to her baby bath tub. I have also tried getting in the tub with her! Anyone else have this problem? Also, she still loves swimming in the pool.

have u tried the kitchen sink? that way u are standing and its easier to "hold" her while u wash her up. My baby did this for about a month, she screamed like we were murdering her, then I put her in the sink with just running water then plugged it once she sat, she seems ok with getting into an empty tub/sink and watching it fill up

It was different for our son... as an infant he didn't MIND the bath but wasn't his fav thing. Then from about 4.5 months he HATED it. The only way we could wash him was if either daddy or mommy held him in the shower and the other washed him (quickly...) and then daddy snuggled him after. And even then, I got headaches from his screams! Now we have a big tub and it is his fav thing! He splashes away, loves bubbles!

Have you tried filling the tub quite full (so it comes to her underarms when sitting) and getting in with her? Perhaps she'd feel like she was swimming, and you could hold her so she floats, just like in the pool?

Have you tried putting her in a laundry basket in the big tub? the holes allow the water to go in. I do this with my baby, and she likes it. It's different. Secure "walls" like her baby tub, but more room for playing and bubbles etc. and she's not quite feeling so little in the big tub?!?!

Good luck!
