My baby is also 4 month. She will sleep through the night only about 1 or 2 nights a week. She has gotten to where she only wakes up once (normally), usually around 3:30 or 4:00. So it is getting better but she's just not quite there yet!! :o)

my baby still wakes for a feed in the night, but it's just a lil moan she makes or she start stirring so i feed her but she doesn't wake up, just feed and then sleep again, but she can put herself back to sleep, and i'm fully breast feeding to.

Hey Tennille,
My little one still wakes up once or twice at night too. I still only breastfeed her though, so I just grab her and feed her in bed...I usually doze off in the process lol. But like Lucy said sticking to a routine every night helps so they know it's night time and they're supposed to sleep longer then when they take a nap...

Thank you!!! We have a nightly routine but sometimes it gets off because I also have a 4 yr and 7yr old and sometimes we might get home late from basketball or tumbling. I do have to say that lastnight she did fall asleep around 8 and she didn't wake up until 5am!!! I must say I feel like a new women with some rest, my husband works out of town so I don't sleep good anyways while he is gone but I felt like I got alot of sleep lastnight it was great!!! I have started her on rice and I have even started to give a little bit of food, I swear all my kids were born hungry!!! Thank you again!!!!

hiya!! my baby has always been a good sleeper. but before i put him on solids he started waking up only a few hours after putting him to bed. i always put him to bed when he's awake so when he wakes himself up he can put himself back to sleep, so i hear him crying quietly for a few minutes then goes back to sleep. how long do you leave your baby to cry at night?? it could be anything from teething, being hungry, thirsty, cold. but some babies still need that night feed at night. does your baby have a night routine?? i bath mine, feed him and give him a little bit of rice then feed him again with the lights down and little noise as possible then put him to bed while he is still awake. i do this at the same time every night and it's worked well so far. babies need a routine so it's best to get it the same time each day. some babies just want to wake up at night. my nephew which is 3 weeks younger than my baby and he always wakes up in the night. but my sister in law breast feeds, i don't know if that has anything to do with it. i wouldn't worry about it too much. every baby is different... i hope this has helped you anyway. hope your baby sleeps through soon!!! :) Take care xxx
