My daughter sweats a lot at night but her temperature seems cool. Anybody else experience this?

My daughter always has damp hair at night from cool sweat. We try to keep it cool in our house but it never seems to help. Her body temperature is never warm when this happens so I was just wondering if this is normal.

That is the way my daughter is. She sleeps just in a diaper and that seems to help and we put a light blanket on her. She still sweats but not as much with clothes on. Some babies are just hot blooded.

My little guy is the same way. At first I thought he was wetting through his diapers(which my older son had a problem of doing) but the diaper will be almost dry and he will be soaked. Wil have to try lighter clothes---I just worry about him getting cold......

my son sweats a lot too...specifically from his head. his body temp will be warm but not fever or anything like that. remember that little kids hearts beat faster than ours which i guess could contribute to them heating up quicker. my son works himself up breastfeeding or crying. nothing i can do but wipe off his sweat.

Our son is the same. He gets hot very quickly, other kids will be wearing long sleeved clothing and he will be comfortable in a t-shirt and shorts. He also doesn't like his feet to be covered, had to ask my m-i-l to remove the feet off his babygrows! If I'm correct 21 degrees Celcius is the advised temperature for a baby's room. I believe in the Baby Sense sleeping bag, I dress my son in light clothing and put him in the sleeping bag, peace of mind!
