Hi ladies I'm kinda concerned about my son. He has hit most of his developmental milestones but will not hold his bottle.

My daughter was the same way, but this weekend she just held it all by herself and now SHE is the only one that can hold it when she eats

My baby girl won't hold her bottle either. She just rest her arms on the bottle. lol. I'm not too concerned though cause she holds her sippy cup just fine. I hope it will be easier to wean her off the bottle this way!

You guys should be happy and just try to take the bottle away and only give sippy. It will be an easy transition since they don;t hold their bottles.

My little girl is 10 months and is just starting to hold her own bottle. She started to use a sippy cup before holding her own bottle. and when she got the sippy cup figured out I started handing her, her bottle and say "you hold it" It seemed to work.
