My toddler cries alot when my husband/i walk away

My 2 1/2 yr old cries when ever my husband or I stray away. he doesnt say hi to stangers and makes a growl noise @ them. Both my husband & i are very polite and friendly that this just has us baffled. we had another baby boy 4 months ago so i know we are all still adjusting.

Any advice?
