Today I actually went to the store with out my daughter so I had time to look at things and I noticed the make a lil ones brand formula (kmart brand) I read all the comparisons and I think they are very close. Does anyone use an off brand? What are your thoughts on it?

I use the President't Choice with Omegas 3 & 6 and she loves it. I tried all of the name brands but Enfamil was just too expensive and the Nestle gave her diarrhea. The Costco was pretty good too.

I nursed both my children for 5 months and then went to an off brand. My doctor (peditrician) is the one that actually informed me on the off brands. He let me know that they are no different/better than the ones that cost an arm and a leg. All baby formula has a standard that they have to meet, so I definately will continue using the one that is $15 cheaper! The one I use is almost the exact same thing as the enfamil, I checked the label. Good luck, and you might want to talk to your doctor if you have any questions that you feel he may be better qualified to answer.

We originally used Enfamil, but when we put our son in daycare, the daycare food program only used the Walmart brand formula. We didn't see the point in bringing our own formula (and the added expense), so we slowly switched our son to the Walmart brand, Parent's Choice, and my son never noticed the difference. They are all so very similar. They have to meet the federal standards anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much about switching to save a few bucks. The store brands are always so much cheaper!

I use the PC band and its good. It has the added omega 3 and 6 which is what you want and also the added iron. I did alot of research on the different fomulas before my daughter was born and found that every formula has a set of standards that they have to meet, the only other information that i found said that their is formula with the omega's (3&6) and other formula without. but the omega's are good to have added for eye&brain development.

My sister used costco brand and it worked great. The texture is a little different, a little more sticky, but her son thrived on it. She was just sure to switch over slowly, mixing the two kinds for a few days.
