My son is 5 months old and I have had him on a pretty strict schedule since he was about a week old. I've worked in childcare all my life and it just seems to work. This is our daily schedule.
-6am bottle of 6oz
-Nap at 8am till 10am
-10am he gets a veggie mixed w/ cereal
-About an hour later 11am is a 4oz bottle
-2pm I feed him his fruit and a veggie
-Nap at 2:30pm to 5pm
-5pm 4oz bottle
-7pm fruit mixed w/ cereal
-8:30pm is bathtime
-9pm is a 7oz bottle
-When finished bottle he is put to bed, (asleep or awake, if awake he puts himself to sleep)
-He will usually sleep till 6am and then our day starts again.
Does everyone have a schedule or is this just me? It just seems to work for us to have this. Plus I work at a daycare and he also attends the infant room during the weekdays. Me having a schedule helps them out tremendously. I am only 21 and a single mother. Everyone says it's not possible for a schedule like this for an infant, but it's working for me. Does it for anyone else?
