Sippy cup help!

My son just turned one in August. He hasn't really been too good at using a sippy cup so our nutritionist gave us one without the spill proof lid, he uses it alright but ends up spilling more than he drinks. I just recently bought a munchkin brand sippy cup that has the spill proof soft spout but he still gets frustrated with using it, I even tried it and it is pretty hard to drink from even for me. I was just wondering if there are any sippy cups that have been easier for your baby? or should I just stick with the non-spill proof and deal with the mess?

I have had the exact same problem with my twins (both of them are doing this)!! I got the munchin ones too and they were frustrated because its hard to get the liquid out - but we kept at it and to my amazement the spout loosened and now if you shake it liquid actually comes out!!! (I think they should tell you this on the label), so keep up with the munchkin sippy cup and it will get easier to drink from. I think my babies were biting on it (the silicone spout makes it appealing for them to chew on) was what loosened it so even if you chewed on it to loosen it up, that will help.
its taken about a month of pushing it on them every day to get them better at drinking from it.

Tommee tippee is the best brand EVERRRRR!! thank you for your help :) the problem is now fixed and no more BAHBAH!! woohoo!!!

hi my son was the same when he was younger (he is now 13 months) he did not like the hard spout sippy cups we found the nuby brand ones with the soft spout great and they dont spill he can now use any cup and straws :-)
