Taegyn turned 11 months on the 24th of this month and she says, Hiiiii, Dada, Mumum, Bye, Yeah, No, Nay Nay (thats her bottle or even if shes hungry lol!) & She's recently started sayin' Kii kii for Kitty! Thats about it. She babbles ALL the time & I always talk to her nonstop lol I can't wait til she's talking in sentences! =)

My 11 mo old says hi, dada, daddy, mum (when tired or sad) bop, sissy (occasionally), I swear the other day he sniffed (my 3 year old was pooping on potty) and said 'pee uuu'...we both heard it and laughed til we nearly cried...but he never said it again...I think they have a lot in their little heads but it takes a while to learn to get the mouth to say them!

My little guy will be a year old on Aug. 2nd and I think he says quite a bit. Mommy, dadda, baby, bye bye, quack (goes the duckie!!). He is at a point that if we say it enough he tends to pick up on it.

why is dada the word most said? (i ask pulling my hair!) hahaa... micah is talking lots and lots now. he will call granddad first thing when he wakes up in the morning, calling out 'pa'. when i get home in the afternoon, he gets all excited and calls out to me, mama... needless to say, i smile all the way...

My 11 month old says dada, da, mama, dat (for cat), app, hi, nana, ney, oooh, ewe, ow, up, buub, and these noises that remind me of a little bird. We're using the Your Baby Can Read system. I love it so much. Very well worth it, she's learning so much!

JP will be 1 on Aug 6th. He says, dada and moma appropriately. He says, bye-bye and waves towards himself. When my husband and I are both in the same room with him, he'll point to us when asked "where's momma?" or "where's dada?" He points and babbles at everything. I think he has his own words for what things are. So fun to go into his room in the morning or after nap, and he says "momma" when he sees me. Super cool!

My daughter has quite a few words*mom/mommy, dad/daddy, nanny, pop, blue, up, that, hat, hi, yeah, out, horsey,car,bubba, April *lol daddy, needs to start calling me mommy* now and she'll be 11 mths on the 29. She also has 4 signs that she does, milk, more,please and all done.
I really believe that the sign language has really enhanced her vocab.

My baby has been talking since about the age of ten months, she can say, momma, dat, nanny, poppy, shoes, two, no no no, pamp, ba, wawa, book, she's becoming very much like a parrot, she mimics alot of words we say hehe She's growing up :(

My daughter is 10 months and her first word was my niece's name, she also says my sister's nickname, she calls me "Mem" and she calls dad "Da E" and she says "no" and "Stop it". Its fun to hear her

my son says dada....baba...mama...waves and says bye bye other than these I do not think the other things he says are words I can make out!! When pple around him are talking he too talks at the top of his voice....

Hi, my little girl is 11 months on 29th aug. she says dadda, mummy, nanny, nanna, hiya, bye bye, fish, dog, uh-oh, and lee after our dog charlie, shes said love you but wasnt that clear. i dont think you need to worry as every baby is different and learns at different paces, just because one baby says loads it doesnt mean every baby is the same so dont worry x

My baby starts talking when he is on his 8th month, his first word was dada, dede, & just like your baby he is just saying mama when he is upset. When he was on his 9th month, he can already say his nannies name which edita and now that he is on his 10th month, he is already saying some words like ate, yaya & jiji...

My little one is about to turn 11 months and only says dada, hi, yum, and bah bah... We are working it out but she is a little slower then her sister who is now 4, but at this age was saying kitty, dada, momma, hi, bye bye, uh-oh... and more but its been a while. So every baby is different and I would say dada is most common for this age.

My little girl only says "mum" when she's upset too...over and over! lol Also says "dada" alot. She doesn't do much mimicking with anything really.

I taught my son to say mama first at about 6 months. I put his hand on my mouth so he can feel how to say the word (a trick they use to teach the blind) and just said it as much as possible. Then he started saying da da, ba ba, and nana a couple of months ago. Everything else is just babbling, but I pretend to understand what he's saying so we take turns and have a conversation:)

My daughter, Gabriella, is 10.5 months old and is talking up a storm. Her first word was kitty and she started saying that at 6 months. She says hi and bye and waves with both, kitty, teddy, yeah, up, no, mom, Boo (our cat's name), boob, eat (new word as of today!!), and her favorite is uh-oh. She throws everything on the ground and says it. So cute!!!!

My 10 1/2 month old pretty much only babbles at this point! Sometimes I will hear "mama" in there somewhere but that just may be wishful thinking, LOL! In no hurry, all kids progress differently : )

Kelsie will be 11 months next week and says, Book, Duck, Dada, Mama, Dog, and Bug and she recognizes them when we ask what they are.

Daisy will be 11 months next week and she doesn't say much more then da'da and hi/hey. She will say mama once in a while- when upset and sometimes I swear she is saying doggy "ogy" and num num at the table.

My little one is 11 months and she says quite a few words. She says bye bye, mama, dada, duckie, teddy, hi, doggie, and kitty. We are working on I Love You, she says i ov, but not all of the time. She tries to say other things too, but you can't understand most of it. I think they will talk when they are ready.

Savannah will be 11 months on the 26th. So far she says dada,mama, baba, bubba, hi, and na na na, for no no. she knows what a baba and bubba is. Not sure if can tell what a mama and dada are.

My daughter just turned 11 months on the 4th of July and she never stops talking! She says; Mama, dada, Reina -her sister- (she says eina), fish, uh oh, wow, whoa, hello, thank you (she says ank ouu), and yess! ^__^ She's a pretty quick learner! Tis so much fun to teach her new words! [=

my 10 month old says mum and dad and ba ba but at the moment its just lots of noises that we try to tell ourselves are words but at 10 months old we shouldn't expect them to be talking just exploring sounds they are still little babies after all

my 10 month old son babbles A TON. He makes a lot of different noises and sound variation, but none of makes much sense. He says mama and dada, but not actually TO us. Should I be worried?? All your kids seem to be saying so much!

My son was 11 months on the 3rd. He says, dada, da, hey, hi, ut oh, ba ba, ga ga ( not really a word but he just figured out how to use the "G" sound) bye ( waves when he says it) and he wont say momma, ma, mum nothing. He hasnt figured the "M" sound out so he calls me dada or da too. LOL!

Jaz can say Mmmma (thats how it sounds when she says momma) but thats about all...she kinda can say Dada but gettin her to say much else is hard....she does do a lot of babbling so at least I know she's trying....

My little month is just over 10 months old and talks allot. He said Mum at 3 mths old, Dad,Hello,No, yum,yuck and heaps more. I have 2 older children so I think that helps with his talking.

My 11 month old has been talking since 9 months. She can say hi(and waves), bye bye(and waves), sit( to the dogs), see( points to object), cheese, no, dog, yeah, mom, dada, that, and she tries to say mouth(point to mouth).

My Son says Mama and thats about it. He says LaLa like he is singing because we sing LaLa to him alot. Mostly baby babble! and getting him to say Mama when I want him to never happens!

I know what you mean about not repeating. My daughter who is just over 10 months will say dada and mama (when upset as well) and sometimes nana to my mom. But her gibberish sounds like words here and there but don't make much sense otherwise. Might just be coincidence that some of her baby babble happens to sound like an actual word. Exciting though ! I feel like now i really gotta watch my mouth and keep my ears open for that first word!

That's so funny my son Jeremiah says Dada all the time. Mama when he's upset. He has also said dog dog twice and hi and bye. That's it. Kinda worrysome that he isn't talking much yet. I feel ya

My bubs is the same... first word was Mama but stopped saying it and mostly just says Dada constantly!! And just a couple other occassional sounds (nar, bub, hay, etc). Great to hear she's not the only one who is just saying ltd sounds...

My son is 10 months and 3 weeks old too. He started saying "mama" when he was 8, then "papa" at 8.5 months. Since my husband and I speak Russian,we teach our son russian and english words. At 9 months he started to point at the objects he wants and says "dai-dai-dai" (in russian "give me"), he also tries to say "lampa" ( a lamp), and today he said "no". Whatever we say to our babies,it registers there and right now they are trying to mimic us. We just all need to be patient and continue talking to them. Good luck! :)

My daughter says mama, dada, hi, bubba - for her brothers. She's starting to say banana. So, she's not talking a lot, but she's doing good. My 6 yo was speaking in sentences by his first birthday, but he was the only one. lol

Persephone just turned 11 months yesterday and has been saying dada all the time! lol mama, hi, bye ba-ba (although she's been off the bottle since 6 months) she'll say "cu" we've been teaching her to say cup so she's trying and she says baby, and night-night and tons of other jabber and talk she's a chatter box lol We are loving it!
