What size clothing does your 4 month old wear?

Was wandering what size clothing your 4 month old wears. My son is in 9-12 months. It seems like he just totally skipped over the 6 months clothes. I guess I should say that 9-12 months is for pj but the 6 months 2 piece sets, the bottoms say up to 16 lbs and my baby is probably 18-19 lbs. He was 26 inches at 3 months don't know how long he is now. Onesies he is in 9-12. Just curious to see what others are in. It is xmas time and I keep getting asked what size he wears and I just laugh!

My son is 11 months and weighs 17lbs and not

Very long there's some shirts that are 6 months that fit

And others 12 months I'm not really sure what size he

Is for me he's really small I still haven't been able

To buy him a pair of jeans cause I'm not sure if they'll fit people ask me his

Size and I'm not sure what to respond.

My 4 month old can still wear some 6 month clothes and some 9 month clothes. They make them so different I never know what to buy her! Some of my 6 9 & 12 month clothes look the same size! And she usually grows out of them in length first.

My son is 4 months and is in 12 month jumpers that he is now on the verge of growing out of! So I suggest 12-18 month jumpers for christmas. I had to ask for 18 month jumpers haha.

My son was 4 months on 1 Dec and he is in 9 month sleepers, 6-9 months onesies, and 3-6 month pants. He has a longer torso and shorter legs he's not too chunky but he weighed 17 lbs 8 oz and was 26 in long on Friday, 18 Dec.

my daughter did the same. She is 27 inches, 17 pounds at 4 months but in 9-12 month clothes...depends on the brand. Gap is 6-12, carters 9-12, ive come to realize that the sizing is very dependent on brand and what the article of clothing is.

She's in 6/9 month clothes. She was just wearing onsies that were 3-6 months that fit her but all of her other stuff is 6 month or 6-9 months. I think sometimes its the material too because when she was in 3-6 month stuff, I had a 6 month outfit that was Carters and it didnt fit her at all. Way to small. She has some stuff that is 9 months like her jeans and for her pictures with Santa, her dress was 12 months.

Nate is just turning 4 months old tomorrow, but he's been in 6-9 month clothes for awhile. He pretty much zoomed through Newborn and 0-3 month. We had to go through his dresser and weed out clothes he couldn't wear anymore and ended up with quite a pile! I don't even go by the label size recommendation anymore. I just eyeball it. Some brands of baby clothes he's in 9-12, some he's in 3-6, and on rare occasions I find something labeled 0-3 month that fits him just fine.

My little girl is mostly in 3-6 month, though some of her 0-3's still fit her. She's growing FAST though, I don't think she'll be in the 0-3's much longer!

My bubby is a tall girl and is in "00" clothes already (prob more like 6mth+). She's a solid girl but the "00" clothes arm and leg holes are too big and wide, though she fits the length. So crazy her going up the sizes so fast.

Kelsie is in 3 mo onsies that just cover her body, but for her footed sleepers (pjs) she is in 3-6 mo or 6 mo sizes. She has long legs!

Wow. Your son has grown so big so fast! My cousin's baby is like that, with her child wearing 6-9 months now. My daughter is a bit small. She can still fit into a few newborn clothes, but mostly wears 3 mo.

Yes it does depend on the clothes. I bought my son some gerber 9-12 month onesies the other day and they are way too small..they must run small because the carter one fit him good with a little room to spare. So stay away from gerber brand or get double the size/

My little man is also in 9-12 months anything smaller just won't do, some things I can buy 6-9 months but only if it is one of the brands that run big. He even has a pair of pants that is 18 months and it fits him perfectly. I really wouldn't worry too much about the size of the clothes as long as his pediatrician says that his size is ok and most doctors would agree that a big baby is not a bad thing.

my daughter is 4 months old, and wears the 6 month pjs because of the feetsies she was 22 inches when she was born, so just over 26 now. and she swims in the pjs but the length is what we have to go by, if she wasnt so long she would still be in 3 months.

My 4 month old son, is in 6-9, for outfits, but mostly 9-12 for onesies and sleepers as well. He weighs about 17 1/2 pounds and is about 25 inches.. All depends on the size and length of the baby, each one will prob be different, but I do think as well, most boys are bigger then girls as well
