what time does your 7 month old go to bed at night?

My son goes to bed at about the same time...sometimes he will fall asleep around 6:30, but usually by 7:30 he is out.

Think it varies depending on the family, though child health nurses recommend a relatively early time. We put our daughter to bed about 730-8pm. The time you're doing sounds good. I've even known people to put their young babies to bed later then 9, though that certainly wouldn't work for us ;)

reed likes to go to sleep between 7-730, but we try to push it until 8.....we are not very successful though!!!!! LOL

Thank goodness there is someone out there like me.. i was reading all these and feeling like the odd one out. My daughter goes off around 8pm but then wakes at 11pm for a feed.. then 3am for another feed then wakes at 6 most mornings, inbetween all this she is waking aswell for no reason. I know she shouldnt need the milk in the night but she really really wants it and if i refuse her at 3am and get her back off she wakes 10 mins later. Really wanna break some habbits as it seems most babies our age are sleeping through.. HELP!!

My son doesnt go to bed til after midnight.... thats when he gets tired and stays asleep til his 4am feeding....he is 7 months aswell...



have any tips, to put him to bed sooner?

wow I read all of you post and I can say lucky my son won't go to bed until 12 or 1 no matter what I do. and if he does fall asleep early he won't stay asleep.

My son goes to bed around 8ish. Bath is usually around 7:30, then story time and nursing and he is sleeping (hopefully) :)

No problem...I think the norm is for you and your 7 month old...Does your baby sleep all night? Mine did for about a week and now he is back to getting up once a night at about 5a...Got any suggestions on that?? Thanks

My daughter is just over 7 months and goes to bed around 6.45-7.00pm every night, and wakes up around 6.00-6.30am. She's had this routine for a couple of months now.

My little girl goes to bed at 6 for an hour nap, then she's up til between 9 and 10. She's so overly tired by six but if we let her go to bed around then, she'll be up at four so we wake her up after about an hour and she's okay for a few hours then goes back to sleep til between 7 and 9, depending on the day :D

My little lady (she's 7 months) has always seemed to wind down around 7 so she goes to sleep no later than 8 and usually wakes up between 6-7am

i put my daughter to bed around 10-10:30pm, and she sleeps till about 11am the next morning. occasionally she wakes up at 7 or 8 for a quick feeding, but usually she sleeps straight through... we're night owls, and my husband works for a professional sports team, so we wanted to take her to the games.. I think whatever works for your family is best for the baby. as long as he/she gets 14.5 hours total in a 24 hour period of sleep, they are fine :)

My little man goes to bed at around 8:30p or 9p, I don't know what the average is...I started putting him to bed at this time since he was a newborn... He is still getting up once a night though..Does your little sleep all night?

My seven month old goes to bed between 6:30 and 7 and sleeps until 6:30 or 7 AM- I started her on this schedule around 14 weeks and she has been sleeping through the night since!

My .ittle one goes to bed at about 8-8.30 but i think it all depends on what suits you. We do a routine so he knows its time for bed. changed to to babygro Lights down low tv off or on mute bottle then bed.

My 7-mo old goes to bed around 8:30. We start his bath, bottle, & bed routine at 8. I don't get home from work til almost 6 pm, so I like to keep him up so I can spend time with him. I'd hate to get home from working all day & only get to see him for just a few minutes.

7pm at the latest. Children need 12 hrs. sleep and with most people getting up at about 6 or 7 this gets them up at that time also. With enough sleep. Good luck to any one who puts theirs down later when school starts bad habits die hard.

Wow! I would love a bedtime that early lol. My little girl just turned 7 months and has a night time bottle at 10:30pm and usually asleep around 11pm and wakes up around 8 in the morning for a snack bottle and back to bed till around 10:30-11am. But I don't think hers is normal. My husband is a truck driver so we have not normal hours anyways! But thats sounds like a good time and does she sleep atleast 10 hours. That is usually the best amount to sleep through I think for development.

My son in 7months next week & he has a bath around 6/6.30pm then bottle & in bed between 7-8.30pm, sometimes he will have a little play after his bath & bottle but not always depending how tired he is. Then I either let him sleep as long as he wants or wake him between 10-11pm for a top up & he sleeps till 6/7am. He will stir a few times during the night but I let him get himself back to sleep or give him his dummy & don't get up unless he's really crying. Sometimes he wont always settle so I jump in the spare bed with him & we both get a nice deep sleep. He has finally cut out the middle of the night bottle but occasionally wakes wanting to play! We usually have another 1/2hour nap between 8/9.30am!
