thanks Elisabeth for the advice.....i might just have to try putting her in undies. I have done the training pants thing....but she still wouldn't use the potty and also used them like a nappy.

I only toilet trained my daughter who is neally 3 about 2-3 weeks ago. After 2 previous attempts I tried putting my daughter in training nappies, and they did nothing she treated them like normal nappies. I put her into undies that she had chose out herself until she had wet herself so she could get the feeling of being wet and or when she needs to go. On the first day yes she did wet herself several times but the next day she started asking to go to the toilet usually while she was in the process of wetting herself. By day 3 she was holding it while we ran to the toilet as soon as she said she needed to go. Within a week she was toilet trained by day. So make sure you have several pairs of undies and shorts ready especially on the first day.
