Yeah my son Hunter aged 4 was just diagnosed with it too - oral/verbal. We go to the speech therapist every 2 weeks and she is giving me tasks to work through with him during the week. It's so expensive - but what can you do! One of my friends has a daughter with it in a more server state and I am learning a lot from her. Thankyou for opening up this conversation :D

hi Rebekah. Glad to hear your niece is doing well with speech therapy . Do you mind me asking how often she does speech therapy and is she really hard to understand !

Only asking as i guess im trying to find whats the best way to deal with my sons . He has been doing speech for 2 1/2 years and is still very hard to understand and he only does it once a week but can have big brakes between sessions due to the therapist he has .

Wish your neice all the best .

hi Anne Maree . Thanks for contacting me back . I would love to talk to you more maybe share some experiences . We have been told this week that my 13 yo also looks to be suffering from it . He is having problems at school and the other kids are noticing . i have just applied to join the dyspraxia foundation as i really dont know much about dyspraxia , i have no support either . Thats why i thought it would be great if icould get to know other mums and we can add support to each other . Looking at the photo of you all you have beautiful girls . Look forward to sharing stories ect with you
