Are there any Play Dates for North Austin?

I am looking for weekend play groups.....Can you add me at the North Austin one....I am new to this, I help nanny for a family that has 14 month old twin boys and we are looking for activities in the area

There's another group on meetup, that I am co-organizer, called Bouncing Babies of Austin. We do a lot of meetups and play-dates. It's more for babies born in mid 2009 to late 2010. It's a great group of moms. I absolutely love the women that I have met.

There is a playgroup that meets in Walnut Creek Park in the North Lamar area. The organizer has a 5 month-old and is trying to meet other moms in the area, so if you have a baby around this age and an interest please check it out! http://www.circleofmoms.com/playgroups/4...

We had one last Sunday and there were children from 6 months to 4 years of age at Robinson park. We have another one getting started for Saturday next week. http://www.circleofmoms.com/playgroups/2... We met two other moms from COMs (Hi Dawn!) group and there were some other kids there as well. We had a great time! It got us out of the house when we were all being quite lazy so it was really great! I agree with Dawn, I can only go to the playgroups on weekends and I prefer Sunday afternoons since this is the day when we have the least organized things to do. :)

Hi Amanda - I've added you to the North Austin playgroup. You can access it from the Austin tab above. Currently it is available to a small test group of people here, but this week everyone will be able to see it and join a playgroup!

Yes, I participate in the NW Austin playgroup - at least, when they meet on the weekends. It's really fun. My daughter is 16 mos and loves playing with other children!

Hi Jenn - Circle of Moms has created a new playgroup feature that allows you to create and join play dates. I've added you the North Austin one; you can see it under the 'Austin' tab above. Later this week, you'll be able to see all the playgroups in Austin.
