Dr. Seeker delivered my twins and my 3rd son. He is one of the most nicest Dr. I have ever met. Someone described Dr. Seeker as angelic.
I would wait any amount of time to see him! He is the best, he also saved my life when I had my twins, I lost a lot of blood and needed to have 4 vials of blood transfused. Most GYNs would of taken my uterus out. Since that did not happen I have my 3rd son.
Thank you Dr. Seeker!

ARC South, I know you wanted more North, but I can not speak more highly about Dr. Julie Grimes. Her office is busy but the wait is never long and they have a lab and sonographer on hand. I have never waited more than 20 minutes, although emergencies do come up with babies being born, there are other doctors that fill in in the same group. She is not only an amazing and truly caring doctor, but a great person and mom. Her number is 512-383-9752.

I had moved up from San Antonio to Austin and was lucky to have been recommended to her. Even my teen daughter, loved her and is willing to drive up for annual exams. I found out through just word of mouth, that four other co-workers had the same doctor deliver their babies, and they all felt the same way about Dr. Julie Grimes.

I'm told Dr. Seeker is always a long wait because he doesn't let other drs deliver his babies while he's at work, so if having your dr there on delivery day is a big deal, he's your man! He's also very nice and considered one of the best in town :)

I love Dr. Seeker, but be prepared to wait... He will be delivering my second baby in about 2 months and every time I have an appt with him (not just a nurse visit) it is AT LEAST an hour wait.

Women Partners In Health is the way to go! My mom has been Karen's (Swenson) patient since she opened her practice and I have been with her since I was 17. She is the Chief of Staff at Seton Medical Center as well. I don't think she takes any new patients anymore, but EVERY doctor she has is EXCELLENT!

I also use women's partners in Health and LOVE Dr. Swenson. I have had three kids with them so i seem most of not all of the doctors in the practice and was always impressed.

I also recommend Dr. Reue from the OB/GYN Group of Austin. I had 2 c-sections with no complications.

Dr. Shannon Abikhaled is a good friend of mine from church. She is a loving and caring person and you would be so lucky to have her as your doctor. She has been a great mentor to my daughter, now age 20, and has provided a lot of guidance through her teen years - so she's more than an OB!!

I also have to rave about Dr. Kish & Dr. Abikhaled with the OB/GYN Group of Austin, their office is right next door to Seton Central and both Dr Abi and Kish have great bedside manner. I have referred many people and all have loved them.

I was followed by Dr. Karen Kish of the Ob/Gyn Group of Austin throughout my first pregnancy. She even was there to preform my C-section. She's located in the brown building attached to Seton Medical Center 512-454-5721, 1301 W. 38th St. 78705. She is awesome, has a great bedside manner and really listens to you. Her nursing staff are really nice also and the office staff is polite & friendly. Dr. Kish had no problems treating me as I was a high risk pregnancy going in to it with type 1 diabetes. I have never felt any connection with any of my past ob's but she made an impression and as long as she's in Austin & so am I, she's my doctor.

I (BIG TIME) second Dr. Schnieder! She even let me have a mirror in the room for my c-section...per the hospital staff...never been done before. Of course, it was up by my head but I got to see my second LO come out. It/she was AWESOME!!! I wanted a mirror in the room for my first but didn't get one (Presby Dallas). I'm soooo glad I went with her for my second baby!!!

Dr Abikhaled and Dr Kish at the offices of Drs. Des Rosiers & Wernecke, Associates are both excellent obgyns. They are both female. Dr Abikhaled was my obgyn and Dr Kish delivered my daughter and she was so calm and patient. Love her!
This office is in the building right next to Seton Central (Shoal Creek). I had my daughter at Seton Central and it was a good experience.
The offices of Dr Des Rosiers & Wernecke were named some of the best obgyns in the country.

I'm not exactly sure where that is but I have had an amazing experience with Dr. Cowan of Austin Area OB/GYN. They are located in the Women's Center in St. David's off of Mopac and Parmer.

Dr. Binford!!! She is the sole OB/GYN with her practice (she used to be a part of Brumley, Akin, Seeker, I believe). Her practice is Balcones OB/GYN in the Medical Building right next to Seton on Medical Parkway & Lamar. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH about how much I LOVE her! She is the warmest, most caring Dr. I have ever had the privelege of seeing. GREAT women on her staff. She shares on-call duties with Womens' Partners in Health as well.

I adore my ob/gyn, Dr. Jeffrey Younkin. He's got privileges at St. Davids. I had him when I lived here before & went back to him once I moved back. He delivered my first son & I wouldn't want anyone else.
