My daughter is 14 months can I give her childrens Tylenol or Motrin or do I need to stay using the infant drops? She has a fever and the infant drops aren't doing much. If so, what is the dose I can give her of the childrens?

Dosage really goes by weight more than age. Always double-check with your pediatrician or the nurse at your ped's office. My daughter is 20 months but has been around 28 pounds since she was about 12 months old, so her dosages have been close to 2 year old dosages since then. If the fever persists, definitely talk to the doc! Good luck!

She's not ready for the children's tylenol or motrin. Those are for ages 2 +. Have you tried stacking the tylenol and motrin? When my 11month old recently had her first ear infection, this is what I did to keep the fever down. I gave 1 tsp of motrin every 5 hours and then 1 tsp of tylenol every 4. Works everytime.
