What do I look for in a good daycare centre?

My daughter has been in Daycare since she was around 9 months old. I found it through some family friends and alot of their kids go there. I am looking to move house to a different suburb (Melbourne City) and it wouldnt be practical for her to stay at the centre she is at now. I'm really worried about how she will go and I don't know what to look for in a centre as I will have no people I know in the area.... Any tips would be a BIG HELP!
