Hi I am starting my son on the diet today and I am wondering if anyone has any good bread recipes. I found rice bread at the store , but don't like it... if anyone has a good recipe it would be a huge help! my son loves sandwiches!!!

My kids couldn't stand ANY bread I made for them. I ended up getting Ener-G brown rice loaf. I get it through Amazon's Subscribe & Save each month (15% off, and free shipping!).

I found THE BEST GF/CF/SF/Nut Free bread EVER! Udi Sandwich bread. It is identical to white french bread. Amazing.

I found the best bread on www.kinninick.com- honey rice bread is just like honey wheat. I also found that making french toast with the rice breads is a good way to boost the texture to something softer and moist.

Hi Nicole, I tried a few of the pre-mix breads, in a breadmachine and in the oven, and I tried one that was already made, I gave up on bread because I just didnt like them and neither did my son. Keep trying if you like, some people find ones they like, I have heard good things about a bread recipe called Noah's bread, you could try doing a search online. If you also decide to just do without, I have found that rice cakes are good substitutes and I bought a waffle maker and convert the recipes to GFCF which I make him for breakfast some times and you can do savoury versions to put pizza toppings etc on, they are quite nice. My Son also LOVED bread, it was the thing I felt most guilty about denying him.
