ok i"ll post something just so you have someone to talk to other then yourself :) or am i interupting??? I'm a mother of 3 1/2 year old twin boys one was diagonsed with autism feb 2008 and i suspect the other is somewhere on the spectum, i told a girlfriend the other day its like autism split into 2 and they got half each, however the diagonsed son has the more serious issues, such as speech delay. When we first found out i was devastated and blamed myself and my husband (and to some degree i still do) and i definitely went through a grieving period. However i was also relieved because now i had reason for all the problems i faced daily with both of them. Its taken me a year to get my head around things and its alot of hard work, too the point where i have to be careful not to overload myself. I'm greatful for my husband although because he works and goes to uni I feel its mostly up to me to implement most things surrounding our situation. One thing i know for sure, just like raising any child is there will always be issues or things i'll get stressed over, and there will always be things that make all the hard work worthwhile.
