This is my favorite book about autism. I have read it several times and loan it to friends and family who want to learn about autism and how it effects my son. http://www.amazon.com/Things-Every-Child...

I have a stack of books a mile high, it depends what you are looking for. I think one of the easier reads and most helpful for me has been "Overcoming Autism". The most encouraging book written by a mother "Now I See the Moon" by Elaine Hall about her journey with her son.
Now, as far as GFCF and good tasting? Good luck! I have the cook book "The Kid Friendly GFCF Cookbook", but I don't like it or a lot of recipes that I've found. Find me a good cook that is also GFCF and I might finally commit to going all the way on this regimen, but if no one will eat it because it tastes so bad, what is the point? I've found a few recipes on the web site "Gluten Free Gal" that are good, but most I've tried have been tossed and I hate to waste food.
