My son, who is 15 years old, doesn't stop biting nails. I tried grapefruit seed oil, but it didn't work.

Try the nail biter polish that works for my son that's 8 yrs old.cheers

There is a clear polish made to help that.It's super bitter. Still, with some kids, I don't think it works all that well. My son is substantially younger, but he is a big picker/ licker. What helped him was getting him a soft, little dog. Now if I notice him doing it, I tell him to pet his puppy. He gets that stimming energy out without chapping, bleeding, etc.

I know alot of people would disagree with me, but the only thing that worked to make my daughter stop biting her nails was soap under her nails. Didn't hurt her, just the bitter taste did the trick.
