For the past few months my husband and I have been dealing with aggressive behavior with our son. My son as literally hit my husband in the back of the head while driving, attacked me. He is very verbally aggressive as well.. We have no help.. seems few and far between, and all we seem to do is get the runaround by professionals. It's exhausting!! I really could use some feedback.. PLEASE! Thank you!! Deb.

Agreed! Look into ABA therapy. Applied Behavioral Analysis. Many states have children"s agencies which will provide you with a therapist who determines how many hours per week are needed and work with all members of the family and also teachers.

My son is much younger but has a tendancy to hit and sometimes be violent. Behavior modification therapy seems to help a lot of kids and I would think that at 10 you can still use that. It's all about teaching what's appropriate and rewarding good behavior. It could be slow going but I hope it's helpful!
