Before we had to unfortunately turn to rispiradone for my 5 year old we tried a year or natural 'remidies' low-no sugar, fat, color, etc diet. we also went to a Chinese doctor that tried him on a bunch of vitamins including 'Chinese modular solutions - comfort Shen'. Unfortunately he needed something a litte stronger. I will admit that I'm still not a fan of dopamine suppressants, but we are 3 weeks free of self harm, but now we are facing suicidial thoughts now for the past few days :(

Probably try a health food outlet or go to a herbal specialist , keep us posted .good luck
