I'm looking to find other moms with children diagnosed with Asperger's. My 9 year old son feels very alone and doesn't have many friends with similar interests. Hoping to make new friends.

Hi Tanya, I too have a 9 year old son with Aspergers. We've been in Whitby just less than a year. He's finding it hard to make new friends and is lonely....hoping to make some new friends!

Hi Tanya, My son who is 8 years old has just been diagnosed with Aspergers and his having such a hard time with school he feels very alone and is being bullied.He has avery hard time making friends, We live in Oshawa and as we are new to all of this It would be great to have someone close to relate to!

hi i'm in the same boat as you my nine year old son has been diagnosed with ASD not Asperger's as they no longer call it Asperger's anymore where i live but he is Asperger's. My son finds it hard to make and keep friends as he is so into his own interests ( dragons) and children his own age find him strange so i typed into Google Aspergers support groups then put where i lived and was shocked to find there was loads around my area.
