Hi I just wanted to introduce myself! I am 31 and the Mother of 3 children and 1 on the way. My oldest is 10 years of age and he has PDD-NOS with a co-morbid of Bi-Polar and ADHD. Some days are very hard but, other days are very rewarding. He is a great kid. I also have an 8 year old Daughter named Lauryn, an almost 3 year old son named Dylan, and I am 35 weeks pregnant with another boy and we are naming him Tristan. I live in the Great state of Ohio.

Hi Tracy, Im Michelle I have an 8 yr. old son named John. He is my only child. We live in Illinois. I am in the process of having John tested. We are not sure what it is yet but know that something is not quite right. So far they have told me about this Sensory Integrtion Disorder but I feel it is much more. How did you go about finding a diagnosis for your son. I will tell you some of the things with John and maybe there will be a similarity. John will not wear blue jeans..hates the feel of them. Loud noises for instance the white noise on the TV will drop him to his knees and he covers his ears and yells to turn it down. He will not try new foods, he throws up. Very Very afraid of the dark and being alone. Sometimes he will cry for no reason at all and I will ask him what is wrong and he says that his heart is sad. That is just some of the things. Just wanted to tell you Hello also. Congrats on the new baby..best wishes! If you can find the time to reply it would be great!!
