I've just returned from an IEP meeting that dealt with his anger/outburst/frustration. I am just wondering if anyone out there in my situation has found a school they are happy with. Does that even exhist? Just feeling a little defeated.

Does your school board have a Special Needs/ Autism team available to you and your school?? We have one and the principal is able to call them in when they need help to figure out how to make things easier for the student they are working with...also, I would seeing if your area has Educational Advocates, they are wonderful for helping you navigate what resources are out there for your son in the school system and what he should be receiving for assistance in the classroom...we have one and she has helped us make sure that our kids have resources and assistance to be in school with their peers... We moved schools 3 times to get the right fit for the kids and they are happy in their schools...I hope things get better for you :)
