You may qualify for a free iPad if your child is nonverbal:

The HollyRod foundation is giving away iPads to qualifying families of nonverbal ASD kids. Here's the link.

Dont think they are running this giveaway anymore....My 4 year old son has recently been diagnosed with ASD, so I have been searching for foundations that offer free ipads, but there was no link at this site. I know with some foundations your child has to be of a certain age to qualify..... bummer! guess i'll be buying one for him!!

Tina, I live in KCK, my son Mateus is 7 years old and also will be 8 in August, I know we are fair, but we can support and help each other.

that such a great thing for kids with autism to have. where i live in australia qld they have a autism package which allows u to spend up to 12,000 dollars up until ur child turns 7, i have used it for private speech therapy and an ipad, which he love so much an is talkin a little more all the time, he has suprised me so much even though he cant talk he shows me how smart he is through the ipad i think every child with autism that cant comminicate deserves one the are magnificant :o)
