I am mom to a fabulous 7 and a half year old little girl who has an Autism, high functioning diagnosis with a co-morbid of Anxiety Disorder, NOS. If you are a parent of a girl on spectrum, you know how overwhelmingly boy-oriented everything is. Girls are often misdiagnosed, overlooked, under-diagnosed or not on the radar.



I am just looking to connect with other parents w/ girls in the same range as my daughter (Parker). Share experiences, bounce ideas around.

I also have a daughter with HFA, ADHD, anxiety disorder and a sleeping disorder. I agree that the focus is still mainly male-oriented right now, though we have a great pediatrician who diagnosed her at 3. She is now almost six, and has made huge progress. I only know one little girl that has ASD, and she is very anti-social, suffering from more aspie-type personality issues. I just joined CoM this week and my main interest is in connecting with others who have girls with HFA. I saw the community you created, but have yet to figure out how to join. I will do so ASAP. Glad to connect with you!

Hi ,I have a 20 month old little girl that has Hydrocephalus and signs Autism .But then I also a son that 8yrs old and has autism spertrum ,so my baby daughter is showing strong signs , Is your daughter in school .
