I have been fighting with my pediatrician's office for sometime now because they are "concerned" that my son hasnt had his vaccines yet. I explained to them that when I can find a doctor who gives preservative free vaccines, that he will have them. I alson told them I wanted him to only have his Tetanus and MMR, but I wanted the MMR done seperately. The nurse told me that my son cant get the MMR spaced out, because they don't make it like that anymore, and she was 100% about that. She was very condensending, like they all are because Mason isnt vaccinated. Can anyone verify this info? If he cant get the MMR seperated, I'm not sure that I want him to have it at all. I also want to know how to go about getting him preservative free vaccinations, if anyone has any info, it will be greatly appreciated!

From what I found out is a single vial shot does not have a preservative in it but a vial that they can draw many shot from has the preservative in it. Most of the H1N1 has/had Mercury!

Of course your doctor is concerned, if he doesn't get enough babies vaccinated he won't get a bonus (several thousand pounds) from the government. As I understand the single mumps vaccine is running out but you should be able to get measles and rubella.
Where do you live?

I don't know the answer to this but I would suggest another doctor also. It may be hard to find one but maybe it's worth a try. There are vaccine friendly doctors out there.

Also some do still contain mercury and the ones that don't have aluminum. There are many additives that are not something I would think to be safe to inject. Check this out:

Hi,

I have 3 kids w/ASD,one is severe.

My daughter got the MMR and got very sick from it.

I also refused to get MMR not separated for my son w/"severe autism".

I tried to find it separated and you have to call the county health department in your area.

I had a VERY hard time finding a MMR separate,so my kids do not get the MMR.

Personally I think MMR is as serious as the flu or chicken pox.I don't vaccinate for any of them.

In my opinion the only vaccines they SHOULD have is DTaP and polio(unless the child has other medical problems that put them at high risk)

My Dr is very understanding about it,if your Dr is not listening to your concerns maybe you should find a different Dr.

As far as the "nurse" goes most of them in the Dr office that do the shots are MA's and they do not always know what they are talking about.

Here is a link, maybe it will be helpful...

I would suggest finding a DAN dr. They are much more understanding and will be able to help you through the bureaucratic bs. Do not let anyone make you feel guilty about protecting your child. If I had know then what I know now maybe my child could have been spared some very pianful times.

My understanding is that all childhood vaccines (except the flu) are thermidisol free now. It was the thermidisol (mercuey) that was thought to be the link with vaccines and Autism. I don't know about getting the MMR seperate or not.
