i really need help doctors are kinda afraid to help i do not know why..do you think they should adjusted the dosage..or maybe the meds are not the right ones she was perfect until 6 months ago that she started to slap me in my arm now my face and she can keep doing it for and hour over and over..any suggestion?

My daughter went from sweet and lovable to unhappy mean and angry on clonidine, so it is worth considering that it may be a med reaction

It is possible that the meds need to be adjusted or changed. My son has gone through many medicine changes. It is still trial & error with him as he is 10. I think you should talk to her daughter & if aren't comfortable with what the doctor says seek another one. We have also been through several doctors. We left our last one because he seemed to want to push meds on our son which we aren't comfortable with. Also, try to do positive reinforcement, activities to help her focus, there are groups out there on facebook & the internet that help with ideas on things to help with the situations. I'm looking at doing a Mind jar with glitter glue, glitter, & water to help him calm down & focus on the glitter. You can put together a box of things for her to go to when she needs her time to calm down. I hope this helps.
