Need recommendations for new, safe cookware!

[deleted account] ( 2 moms have responded )

I currently have stainless steel Emeril pans. I love them, but I would like to go with hard anodized. It is advertised that it does not peel or scratch. Is it safe for autistic/adhd children?

If you're worried about minute amounts of toxins being released at high temperatures, you should just stick with what you have. Teflon is estimated to be in the blood of 99% of newborns, according to a study done by Johns Hopkins. Using teflon-coated cookware has been deemed safe by both the FDA and EPA. If you are worried about its possible effects, you should know Teflon is also in windshield wiper blades, carpet/ clothing/ upholstry stain protector, lightbulbs, and car engines.
