No need to apologize. I'm a mother of a 7 yr. old Autistic with signs of Asperger and lemme tell you it took years but a couple of years ago when he said mom...I cried...we take these things for granted, but to me they meant the world...

Tammy, I totally understand your excitement and that is a huge milestone to celebrate! When our kids start talking, it's like we finally have a key to unlock this beautiful little mystery that's living in our house :-)

Well done!

Dont be sorry! Its just awesome isnt it! Just makes you cry happy tears!!! :-) My son is nearly five and has autism, his speech has just started to improve over the past year. One day he said "mummy please can I have a drink?" and you could of knocked me over with a feather!! Then I just balled, while telling him excitedly how clever he was!! lol Keep sharing! x

Congratulations! That is very exciting. My son will be 4 in 2 weeks and 2 months ago was the first time he had answered a question for me rather than repeating. It started when he started going to this daycare he goes to one day a week. It has only been improving since, he does not do much repeating anymore. I am so happy for you and Seth, hope it will be like my son and just continue to improve.

That 's awesome!!! Good for him and you. My six year old daugher was diagnosed with PDD-NOS/OCD and she just started answering questions properly mid last year so i know that extremely proud and exstatic feeling you're feeling.nShe is doing sooo well now, we have little conversations and she understands everything i tell her and she speaks her mind now, too. I hope he continues in this direction. Good Luck and God Bless.
