I was just wondering if anyone makes their own social stories for their kids? Does anyone know of any websites that might have free social stories that can be printed out?

I had found one of my social stories books from Carol Gray. The website on the book's price tag is this: www.autismawarenesscentre.org I hope this helps you out.

You can try looking for Carol Gray social stories. My husband and I had recently been to her two day conference on how to write your own social story. She covers a WIDE range of everyday things kids do. She also has some books that cover close to every age group. Hope this helps.

Hi,
I do make social stories and I can send you links....
Are you talking about the stories that are personal or the scripting ie bathroom(turn on light,shut door,take off pants....etc)?

i have a whole gammet of teaching tools with social stories from everything to do with communication, personal space etc if you send me an email at jc-shocking@live.com.au i will respond and attach all the pdf's for you to print out i have enough for a years worth of education for your child :)
