I recently became a single mother after a decade of being married. Raising my two kids is overwhelming but one of the kid's being autistic is exhausting. I currently work and I'm seriously thinking of quiting my job to focus on my young boys (6 and 3). I really don't know if I'm making an emotional decision or if it's the best option for my current situation.

Can someone please advise?

I don't know how you feel about this, but care.com has people who will work with your autistic child. It's $35 a month, but they do background checks and the like. I would say you are making an emotional decision, but if you need to work, I would at least consider using or checking out care.com. I'm a member of an autism group on FB and one of the parents there uses it. She said it's very helpful.
