Hi everyone! This is my first time here. I have eight children, going on ten. One of my 7-year-olds is bilnd and has autism. One of her latest antics is taking off her clothes and then going to the bathroom and playing in it. Lovely! We have tried so many things, including putting onesie pajamas on backwards and pinning them, but she can always find a way out. Any ideas?

Thanks for your suggestion. Elli actually isn't verbal. A rewards chart is way above her cognitive level of functioning. So I'm just looking for practical ways to keep her clothes on-- types of clothes, etc. Any other thoughts?

Ahhh, this is my suggestion to everyone.....but here it goes because it works!

Do a rewards chart with her. Make it simple. Start with one task initially. Do something special with her if she does well at the end of the week. I'm assuming she's verbal? And I'm sure she has favorite things. Never remove a sticker if she has bad behavior. She has to do it the whole day and at the end of the day she get's a sticker at a specific time.

Hope this helps!
