Tips on breaking a breastfeeding child?

[deleted account] ( no moms have responded yet )

I've breastfed my daughter since the day I had her, at first I had to use a nipple sheild. She just wouldn't latch, and I wanted to breast feed. So I kept trying, I got her to latch around 1 month. After getting her to latch to my actual nipple, she would never take a bottle even if I pumped my milk. Now she's one years old, she takes a sippy cup with juice and milk. But... She doesn't like the sippy cup all that much, she'll get tired of it and throw it, then she'll want to breastfeed. I really want to break her and get her on to regular milk, but every night she expects to be breastfed, when she's cranky she wants to breastfeed. And now she's got a mouth full of teeth, and sometimes when she's frustrated she bites me. Any tips on how to wean her off the breast?
