My 8 year old son has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Autism, Pico, and a mood disorder leaning toward Bipolar or Schizophrenia.

He has recently become VERY violent towards his 3 year old sister. He has stepped on her hand with the intent to break it, he has covered her in blankets and held her down preventing her from being able to free herself and get air, and he has grabbed her shoulder rough enough to leave bruises because he thought it was time for her to get up (she had a temp of 103 on avg at the time). He has done other smaller things like tripping on purpose on cement flooring.

He then lies about what he did. He lies about every little thing he can lie about in his life. I dont know what to do anymore. He has been in treatment programs for anger, he has been put on a psych hold before, he has a psychiatrist and a therapist he sees. He evens lies to his doctors. He tells them what he knows they want to hear to get away from them and be able to go home.

What do I do!?!?!

Is he in ABA? Sounds like he needs to be IMO. They will help him with all of these issues. He needs a behavioral therapist badly!

He is one of the actual ADHD cases. His impulses and attention are horrible when he isnt on meds. He is currently on Ritaline and Zyprexa.

Sounds like he might be a compulsive liar on top of things. The problem with those that have that problem is at the time they say the lie, they believe it. Which makes them more convincing. Set up cameras around the house to show the psychiatrist his behaviors at home, and document everything. Do your best to not leave your daughter alone with him. If he is bipolar, or schizophrenia, I'm afraid he likely will need medication. However said medication ought to help the behaviors settle down. At least somewhat. Those are some pretty serious mental conditions that therapy alone usually doesn't work. And ADHD, if he honestly has it (to be honest I think that's one condition that's over diagnosed) a low dose of some kind of med for that, will help a bit too. I'm not big on medicating kids, but sometimes it is needed, and helpful. If the doctors he currently sees aren't helping, get new ones.
