Any one having false labour yet?

Drinking some water and elevating your legs should help. Dehydration makes the uterus more likely to contract. Try to increase your fluid intake throughout the day as well. I've been experiencing the same symptoms, but they aren't regular and go away with rest. If your contractions become regular and aren't relieved with rest, start timing them and call your OB.

im 34 weeks pregnant n have had braxton hicks since i was about 25 weeks pregnant it can occur earlier the more pregnancies u have

im 32 weeks and 4 days. im at high risk to have her anyday ive been in the hospital 3 times now with lil contactions. id ask the doctor to check ur cervix if u didnt already do it. mine is only 1.5 cm and still should be about 3 but braxton hicks *false labour* can occur with the whole pregnancy

I'm 34 weeks, it's my first pregnancy and I've had braxton hicks for about 8 weeks now. Mine are painful but they usually happen when I'm trying to walk up a flight of stairs or I'm out walking for a few blocks.

Yip I keep mistaking them for the baby pushing down really heavy and then I notice that my whole tummy has gone hard. I didn't realise that drinking water would ease it, I must try that the next time which is bound to be soon.

im 33 weeks now, this is my third pregnancy and ive been getting really painful braxton hicks, reading these ladies comments has helped me, i never really had them with my other two, so i thought i was in slow labour, its such a relief knowing im not the only one. XXX

At 30 weeks I was have steady contractions also. My doctor put me on some pills that I have to take 3 times a day for 3 more weeks then he thinks the baby will be ok to have.

I talked to my dr the other day beause i was experiencing VERY painful Braxton Hicks and he said they can get worse with every pregnancy. I am on #3 and I honest to god though I was going to have him the other night.

With my second, I started getting them at abour 22 weeks, maybe a little after, and they hurt like holy hell....

My doctor said to try changing positions, or changing what you are doing, and drink some water. I was told when it happens to time them and if they are consistant that to go into the hospital. Mine were consistantly coming (this time around) every 7 minutes for over an hour, I kept drinking water and then just out of the blue they got less strong then dissapeared all together!!! If in doubt tho, and you are worried, give your dr a call :)

I am 32 weeks as well and have been having Braxton Hicks for a week now. I'll have 2 or 3 (or more some nights) within a couple of hours and then none for 12 or more hours. You may feel it more because this is your second child and you know what contractions feel like. First time moms sometimes don't even realize that they're having Braxton-Hicks.

i am 32 weeks along and I have been having contraction for about 2 weeks at different times of the day. My first child was early so i am wondering if this baby is gone come eary also.

Im exactly like Kimberly. Never had them with my first pregnancy but get them often now with my second. Also when i have over done it. They can hurt but eventually go away after drinking water and taking it easy.

I'm not experiencing false labor, but I do have Braxton Hicks contractions almost every single day. This is also my 2nd pregnancy, but the first time I've ever felt these contractions. For some reason with my first son, I never got any Braxton Hicks contractions or anything. When mine come on, I get a big glass of water and sit or lay down for a while, as they seem to come on when I've overdone it. They go away within a half hour or so...is this kinda what you're having? If you are really experiencing false labor, are you talking with your doctor or midwife about it? You might want to check in with them to make sure all is okay for ya. :)

By false labour are you meaning Braxton Hicks?
